Life is hectic, and it's even more hectic when we are not following God's plan. Once we learn to balance all the conflicting aspects of our lives—home, work, family, entertainment—with God in the center, then the craziness will start to calm down. Everyone's life plan is different because each of us is unique, and that makes us all wonderful and special, not only in God's eyes but in each other's. We need other people because we can't each do it all. As the Body of Christ, we work together for God's glory. But we each need to identify and hone the purpose God has for how we fit into the overall Body. For how we help bring balance to the Body of Christ. Then balance will fall into place in our own lives.

Cross Your Heart Publications was founded in 2006 to publish books and other materials designed to help others balance their lives according to God’s Word. Yes, we are brand new, with a fresh voice in the publishing world!

Like the Israelites wandering for 40 years, and like Jesus who was tempted in the desert for 40 days before beginning His ministry, we all have our own personal wilderness we need to come out of before we can fulfill the true purpose intended for us by God. God uses our wilderness time to prepare us for service, and this time may be a time of waiting that tests our patience. But this time does not need to be inactive. God has a purpose through those times as well.

God has a unique plan for each and every one of us, and that plan begins with us learning to balance our lives while placing God in the center. Your unique purpose is ingrained in your heart. By placing God first, you learn to recognize this purpose. You realize how your talents, abilities, and interests have been honed your entire life (even without you being aware of it) to prepare you for your unique purpose.

Once you start living God’s unique purpose for your life, then you have learned to cross your life with God’s plan.
